Esther's doing better

It looks like she's got a gastro-intestinal bug.  Fever and diarhea, and the fever is coming down.  She's looking better as well.  She's still got the diarhea though.  Now instead of worrying about fluid retention, she's getting close to being dehydrated.   She's lost 1/2 of a pound in 24 hours.  So far all her test have come back negative - but some haven't in yet.

I got to go shopping with Jessica while Daryl sat with Esther, and then we all went to get dinner and checked the boys into the hotel.  It's a nice hotel, so we were pleased about that.

I'm busy holding her so my post will be short tonight

  1. Ruth, Thank you for the time you are putting in to update the blog. I know you could be doing so many other things. We are following every step the Lord has you. We are praying. We love you all. I miss Jessica's face being in choir. I will miss her on Sunday. Much, much love. I hope you are feeling loved and cared for by your sweet Savior. ~Marie

  3. Oh this is good to hear. Was catching up on your last few blogs last night. Everybody in this house thought the picture of Esther from two posts ago was so cute. Lots of AWWW's behind my back as I was reading through the post. It's truly an adorable shot. Just letting you know were thinking of you and your family and will be praying for you, esp as Monday draws near. Man, Oh man, I can't even imagine sending a newborn under the knife. It was hard enough to send our 21 year old there a couple years back. May God grant you the peace and confidence you'll need in the days ahead. And...enjoy your family, WOW that is really neat how it all worked out. My dad likes to say this about "financial" issues and circumstances, " God is rarely early but NEVER late"; he certainly provided what you needed just when you needed it didn't he. He is Good
